Founded in 2006

Signarture was founded in 2006 by creative director Sarah Leslie - an award winning artist, multi-disciplinary designer and innovation professional - with a vision to solve the most common dilemmas, problems and pain points when buying artworks:

• Not having the time / ability / inclination to visit traditional art galleries
• Not having the budget for originals / but really not wanting something mass produced
• Not having the confidence / risk appetite to commission an original work

The mission was to make bespoke artworks accessible, enabling more people to give expression to their personal style at home, and for more professionally designed projects to benefit from unique pieces. 

The journey so far...

From starting to sell our first collections of artworks online in 2006, we've gone a long way to delivering on our mission:

• Our innovative use of materials such as Perspex saw us nominated for DesignEX new product awards in successive years on launch
• Our delivery of truly personalised product and customer experience has seen us awarded Best of Houzz for eight years!
• Our clients include property developers, architects, designers and design-savvy homeowners all over the world. 

Have we met before? 

• We've exhibited at major art fairs, leading trade shows and design venues including Art Sydney, Decor + Design, DesignEX, Grand Designs Live and Chelsea Harbour Design Centre in London.
• We've been profiled in the media and featured in home and interiors magazines from Belle, Home Beautiful, House & Garden, Inside Out and Vogue Living; in design trade publications including (Inside), Indesign and Specifier; on TV shows from Jamie Durie's Outdooor Room to House Rules
• Pre-pandemic, we we're represented by leading retailers of high end furniture, including Cosh Living, Fanuli Furniture and Innerspace, across Australia
